My dad and granddad coming back from the club at 3pm, pissed up, and my mum getting the hump cos they were late for dinner.

As far as I was concerned Sunday finished after Thunderbirds and The Big Match.
Spent a lot of time hoofing a football back and forth with my brother punctuated by the odd spacehopper fight

CofE Sunday school was in the mornings.
Only went twice, then kicked up a fuss.
Didn't understand that it wasn't about my moral education but about my parents making my sister until much later.
At the time, if I'd thought there could have been a brother for me in it, I would have given it more time.

Down the offy, bottle of coke, bottle of lemonade and a choc bar for me and me sister (only sweets we had all week).
Thunderbirds, the Lost Islands, thick gravy, the Persuaders, poxy Poldark or some other BBC drama shite.
Top of the Pops on the radio, cassette deck ready to record it all on my TDK tapes.
